This is a research group (Laboratory) of two professors, namely Futoshi Kurisu and Ikuro Kasuga. Kurisu belongs to Research Center for Water Environment Technology in School of Engineeirng, and Kasuga belongs to The Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology(RCAST). While their research and adminstrative activities are mainly in these organization, their educational activities are mostly for the Department of Urban Engineering in School of Engineering. They are member of Urban Environmental Engineering Course of the department, and their students/researchers are basically in the course. Their research facilities are also shared with the department.
栗栖太と春日郁朗、２名の教員の研究室です。栗栖は大学院工学系研究科附属水環境工学研究センターに所属しており、春日は先端科学技術研究センターに所属しています。ともに工学系研究科都市工学専攻の教育を担当し、研究室としては、工学系研究科都市工学専攻を主体とする都市環境工学講座のメンバーとして活動しています。学生など研究室メンバーは、主に工学系研究科都市工学専攻都市環境工学コース（大学院）、工学部都市工学科都市環境工学コース（学部）の学生であり、研究施設も都市環境工学講座で共有しています。講座の他の研究グループとも様々な形で共同研究や研究協力を行いながら、開かれた研究グループを目指しています。
